This website brings back the fun I had making things online when I was a kid. I've used the same cool background and pixel art that I loved back then. While thinking about how most of the internet looks the same now, I realized that there are still people like me who enjoy making their own websites. Some of us hang out on places like Neocities. I really liked those cute and old-school websites, so I decided to make something like that, but without needing to do lots of hard coding. What you see here is the result – a way of remembering the past, a little nod to how things used to be, and a simple place on the internet. Come on in and explore a corner of the web where creativity is wide open, each tiny dot on the screen has its own fun, and everyone can be themselves.
Note: I have linked all of my sources for this project on the "resources" page. if you are the creator of any of these artworks, please reach out to me on insta @academicstrawberry <3
