purpose of site
this site is a recreation of a website I made as a kid. I used this exact background and similar pixel art elements to make it. When I was thinking about how the internet has gone completely bland and boring, I realized that theres other people who are still out there making their own websites, usually on neocities. Although I wanted to make a site like the retro kawaii webpages, I didn't want to go through a lot with coding so here's what I was able to make without it.

My inspirations!!
I'm mostly inspired by the 90's and early 2000's internet. Especially the neocities sites I have found using wiby. They seem like such nice artifacts of the early days of the internet. I am also inspired by youtubers like Izzzyzzz who makes content investigating the old days of the internet. And of course, I almost forgot to mention, my own websites. I used to create a lot of weird websites and scratch games using resources I found online, returning back to this reminds me of those days.
